In order to participate in the game show, the contestants need to compete in a telephonic contest first. Thousands of people across the country dial a toll free number and answer three questions, by arranging things or events in the right order with the help of a telephone keypad. Around 10,000 to 20,000 people who correctly answer the three questions are allowed to enter the random drawing. Around 300 people are selected to compete for ten spots on the show, on the basis of the results of the telephonic quiz method.
Initially, the show could draw up to thirty million viewers per day, thrice a week. It was rated as the number one show, against all other television shows of 1999-2000. It ranked within the top three programs, the following year. However, the popularity of the show began to decline during 2000-2001.
