When buying a Doberman Pinscher puppy talk only to breeders who are honest about health and temperament testing. Be aware that most pet stores buy their puppies from puppy mills, where dogs are kept locked in cages and bred constantly, with no concern for their health or welfare. As a result, the puppies at pet stores are very often in ill health. Also remember that the puppy contract should be advantageous to you, as well as to the dog and the breeder.
