Strong Digital Satellite Receiver: Strong1 Brothers was first set up in Pakistan in 1970. In 1991 it was established in the US as a manufacturer and supplier of satellite reception equipment like IP receiver signal scrambling systems along with conditional access, and set top boxes. They also supply commercial equipment for teleports earth station broadcasting solutions, for example modulators, amplifiers, multiplexers, up and down converters, dual head video graphic cards with MPEG-2 quality, and playback premier decoders and digital media routers for multimedia professionals.

Strong1 has become one of the leading names in the digital world. It provides set top boxes to international satellite television users. Thanks to them, TV viewers can sit at home and relax, watching the various channels of their choice.

It is the major entertainment source for the chief suppliers of almost 16 million families in North America and South America, Canada, Hawaii & Central America, and Mexico. Besides the Strong receivers, Strong1 has also built international TX/RX earth station teleports, microwaves, V Set integrations, and radios.

Strong Receiver Software Upgrade: After installing the satellite dish and the LNB, you can connect the cable to the USB satellite TV receiver. The satellite receiver manufacturers usually provide software for accessing the receiver from the computer, and for viewing the channels on TV. After installing the software into your computer it connects the satellite TV receiver to your PC through the USB cable. Before putting the cable in the socket verify if it is the USB 2 socket. Some PC’s have both USB 1 and 2 sockets.

Strong Receivers have software upgrades, which enhance the working of the receiver. Strong Receivers’ new model, SRT8100, has new and innovative features. Some of the features work on a different version of the firmware (software in a read only format). In case of SRT8000 Imagica, the Emper0r and H2Deetoo were successful in tweaking the firmware to enable additional functionality.
